Head of Alternative Investments Valuation Oversight - Global Financial Leadership Role

In this role, you will oversee the valuation process for a diverse range of alternative assets, including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and infrastructure. You will work closely with investment managers, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that valuation methodologies are robust, compliant with regulatory requirements, and aligned with HSBC's investment strategy.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Lead and oversee the valuation process for a diverse range of alternative assets, including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement valuation methodologies and governance frameworks to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance.
• Work closely with investment managers, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that valuation methodologies are robust and aligned with HSBC's investment strategy.
• Monitor and review valuation processes to identify risks and opportunities, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to valuation.
• Provide guidance and support to the valuation team to ensure that they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to perform their roles effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments within HSBC, including risk management, finance, and legal, to ensure that valuation processes are integrated with other aspects of HSBC's operations.
• Represent HSBC at industry forums and conferences to share best practices and insights related to alternative investments valuation.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in alternative investments valuation, with a focus on private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and market-based approaches.
• Certification in alternative investments valuation, such as the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, is a plus.
• Proficiency in using valuation software, such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or Morningstar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working in a global financial institution, with a focus on alternative investments, is a plus.
